WINUNDELETE SOFTWARE

This review is on a utility program, which is amazing! It is designed to undelete just about any kind of file you can think of, even the files, which were deleted, without going to the recycle bin.
Upon installing, a handy wizard comes up and takes you step-by-step. It was so easy to install and it ran beautifully. I felt very comfortable with this program right from the beginning of use. In just a few minutes it seems as though I had been working with it for months.
This program asks which drive you would like your files to be recovered from and where you would like it to rewrite it to. They strongly suggest that you do not rewrite your files back to the same drive that you are trying to recover your files from. After using this program a few times, I understand why. This is a very powerful and quick program. And they don't want you to permanently destroy your files. They suggest that if you are searching your C drive, for example, you should copy your retrieved files onto a zip drive or CD or even a floppy.
Another nice feature of this program is a smart scan feature. This allows you, in the interest of time, to scan for file types. So, if you know what type of file you are looking for, the program will ask you for just that type. The list of file types is very long. Some of the file extensions I have not even heard of. It will recover files from the recycle bin after it has already been emptied, and it will recover files that have bypassed the recycle bin. It will recover files from DOS command prompt. It will even retrieve pictures you thought were gone forever.
You can set this program to bypass temporary internet files and zero length files. It works safely, without changing or harming your Recycle bin.
The software works on Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003, and even Vista. You can pull data off a floppy disk, a CD, a zip drive, an external hard drive, digital media, and camera cards, (I'm sure I'm forgetting something.)
You can find this great program at www.winundelete.com. This cost is $49.95, a small price to pay to retrieve your valuable date. The web site says it takes only two minutes to download by a 56K modem. This is the direct use package and you can order the CD for an additional $14.95, which includes shipping.
This is an awesome program and I highly recommend it. Even for a beginner, this is an easy-to-use program. I cannot honestly think of one negative thing to say about it.
