PictureImp is a utility program from Neltem that enables you to drag and drop images from web pages into a desktop basket for later use. It is incredibly easy to install and use.
Just install the CD or download the program from the website ( www.pictureimp.com ) and follow the prompts. It installed in about 60 seconds.
Once installed, you may open it from a desktop shortcut or your program list. Once opened, a rectangle appears on your desktop or a designated area such as a Google sidebar (where I keep it). Inside the rectangle the name of your destination file is named (I used “my pictures” as my default).
Then, just surf away on the web!  When you have the desired images, they may be inserted into flyers, documents, greeting cards, etc. Merely double-click on your basket and your default storage location opens. Then copy and paste to your project.
Understandably, copy-protected images will not respond. If you desire multiple baskets or wish to amend the storage file destination, just right click on the basket and select options. Right-clicking on the basket and selecting help will give you directions for use and F.A.Q.’s.

A free trial version is available on the website (www.pictureimp.com), as well as the full version for $24.99. This is a nifty little program for those that use web images for other applications.
