GEMS QUEST
Review by

This is an Arcade Game.
The program was very easy to install. All instructions were thoroughly defined and easy to follow.
Gems Quest has 60 arcade levels. The game provides an adventure story of a young girl, Sasha. She and her pet dog travel into the jungle in search of a rare flower. In her search, she finds a door that leads into a temple. The program leads you into a game of matching colors, arrows, gold and jewels.
You have to match color gems to have them removed from the screen and gather points as you go. Gems are indicated with directional arrows and it is necessary to click on the individual gem to move it in a direction that will group it with other gems of the same color, trying to accumulate a block of three or more. Gems are moved in the direction of the arrows. Arrow direction is changed when colliding with the wall at the end of a row, or the top and bottom of a column. You receive gold with a match and it is placed in a plate in Totem’s hands. When the plate is filled with gold, the level is completed and you continue to the next level.
The game is fun, and I have enjoyed it, although I have found it to be very addictive. You can spend hours trying to complete all the levels. I have not reached all the levels of the game, but I intend to keep trying until I have mastered it.
The game is available to download at www.sulusgames.com . You can purchase a single user license for $19.99. There also is a free download of a sixty-minute trial version, which will let you try before you buy. You can play the game on line for free, but this is advisable only if you have a broadband connection. They provide tips on the game, which lets you get started without having to read a lot of printed instructions.
