Art Suite is another fun AKVIS program.  It lets you make frames around your pictures and create all kinds of fun effects.  It has a channel mixer to get whatever color you want or you can make your picture black and white.  You can use it as a stand-alone program on your desktop or use it with your photo-enhancing programs.  I used the stand-alone version.

Installation was very easy.  I put in the CD and started using the program right away. 

The program is very clear and easy to understand.  There is on-line help, but I never had to use it because the program shows all of the information at the bottom right of the screen.  It shows a hint of anything that you point your arrow on.  This way you know at all times what everything does.  With a mixing of artistic effects, you can create any number of different projects.  Many times, I used as many as five or six different frames and effects to come up with something really unusual.
